Yichallal

6 07 2011

Yichallal, Yichallal, Yichallal. An Ethiopian word meaning ‘it is possible and it can be done’.

So this is my starting point, this is where we shall begin. I’d like to think of it as being reborn. I have an idea that the mind is a powerful source of energy. I have this idea that we are a part of nature as is the world around us is a part of us, loaned to us by our children. I am going to attempt to try and live a life where my life is a party and my body is a temple as best as I can. I have started doing and enjoying yoga. I had these thoughts whilst meditating the other afternoon. I feel the time is now to start cleansing my mind, my body, my spirit and my soul. I am ready to embrace what the world has to offer me and I am ready to give what I have to offer to the world.

I want to reeducate myself in what life, love and caring for the planet actually is. I want to go back to my foundations. I want to rediscover my true spirit, my real diamond. I am going to detox my mind, my body, my life, I am going to take a journey, a journey which aims to revitalise my soul and to bring my spirituality back.

I am not a religious person, nor am I a preacher. I delve into religions that inspire me I take the aspects that excite me I practise what I believe. I live my life by own beliefs and morals extended to me from various religious aspects. However my main influences generally come from The Traditions of Magic; Polytheism, Pantheism, Monotheism, Atheism, Paganism, Neo-Paganism, High and Low Magic, Hermeticism, Kabbalah, Hinduism, Buddhism, Ancient Egyptian Religion, Celtic Druids, Native American Practices, Aztec, Greek, Shamanism, Wicca, the list is quite literally endless.

I live by my own beliefs and morals and it works for me, only in the past few years I have been ignoring them. So now I head back on a journey to my foundations the what makes me, me.

A spell is a blend of prayer, promise and intent. A well cast spell brings positive change or maintains what is good. The success of all spells depend on our determination to make the ‘wish’ come true. Just how much of our energy we put into the spell determines how big the vibration we send out is. Like karma what we send out get’s returned by the power of three. It takes me back to what I was saying “I have an idea that the mind is a powerful source of energy.”

I was brought up with the common moral of ‘treat everyone as you wish to be treated’. I applied this to my life and extended it to ‘give out the energy you wish to receive’ and ‘live and let live – fairly take and fairly give’. A positive mind is the most powerful tool we own. Such as a spell is a blend of prayer, promise and intent so are blessings, meditations, rituals, charms, incantation, invocation, talismans and amulets. I intend to be hopeful and be loving, I hope as others do to have the courage and endurance to face what life throws my way. “Today we understand that the future of humanity very much depends on our planet and that the future of the planet very much depends on humanity” Dalai Lama of Tibet.
